What comes with the package?
Just the display case. It is all that is needed, really. You will have to remove protective film from the acrylic. For more on shelling, we recommend watching content about it on YouTube. We were going to come up with a instruction guide, but it is pretty straightforward, lending to the fun.
When will I get it?
We ship overnight and it should arrive within 1 to 5 days.
Do you do returns?
Absolutely! Use our contact page to begin one. Or reply to our order confirmation email. We will refund you when there is an issue with the product if you have used it or after you have shipped your return. If you have used the case we cannot process a return.
Where do you ship?
We ship nationwide in the United States! The shipping locator at the top of the page uses your IP address to give a geolocation. It usually gives an accurate location but sometimes gives a neighboring location. We included that simply to make you more confident in your purchase.
Is it really great for dates?
YES! Yes. Yes. Yes. It is a super unique and creative way to enjoy time with someone you love. Let us know how your date went!
How long should I shell hunt for? When is the best time to shell?
Up to you! You can find your 36 pieces over days or weeks or all within a few minutes. The longer you look, the more likely you are to find super unique shells. If you are planning a date, planning for somewhere between 30 mins and 3 hours works well.
You can go shelling anytime really, but dawn or dusk give an especially beautiful natural ambiance, and you will find more shells when it is low tide (which you can check for online).
Is it only for shells?
No! You can find cool little starfish or even coral, pieces of seaweed, or tiny collectables completely unrelated to the beach.
Will my local beach have tiny shells?
Probably yes! The vast majority of sandy beaches have small shells around their shoreline. Roughly 7 or 8 out of 10 beaches. Tiny shells are way more common than large shells actually. But no less intricate. If you purchase but find nothing at your beach, please reach out so we can talk about a refund.
